Last night we held our vote count for the Player voted MVP.
BUT we changed it up a little.
After each round we tallied the total number of votes then ranked players 5,4,3,2,1 to achieve a total score. This way it ensured an evenness of voting even if there was a round where not many people voted.
Going into the last round State League, Division 3 and the Lady Mavericks had either one or two votes separating First and second.
In State League neither Harry or Luke polled votes in the last two rounds as Mitch came from the clouds with 10 votes in the final two rounds, but it wasn’t enough and Luke Dobson held on for a third consecutive MVP.
In Division 2 Merric streaked away to a comprehensive victory.
In division 3 Griff pegged one vote back in the second last round then both Haydn Portelli and Mark Griffiths both polled a maximum 5 votes in the last round to tie for the div 3 MVP.
For the Lady Mavericks two votes separated Lainey and Audrey with two rounds to go. A maximum 5 vote game in the second last round moved Audrey into the lead. She then capitalised with another 3 vote game putting her four votes clear and claiming the inaugural Lady Mavericks MVP.
