Brunswick Lacrosse Would like to invite all members and supporters to a very special event. Next week, the clubs favourite son, Jake Shepard, will be returning to the country for a brief visit. We would like to take advantage of this rare opportunity and celebrate the achievements and contributions of Jake by retiring his former playing number 22.
For those who are not fortunate enough to have met him, Jake is the son of the club’s founders Kris and Clive. He has been playing lacrosse since the clubs creation, and has represented both Victoria and Australia throughout his career. He has contributed vast amounts of time to the clubs development through coaching, recruitment and refereeing. He was also the first member to develop club merchandise and an social media presence.
We will be celebrating Jake on Tuesday the 3rd of April, with a jersey retirement ceremony. Some food will be provided and drinks available from the bar.
